For example, geography is no longer an exam subject, but I still watch some magazines about geography from time to time. Extrinsic motivation refers to motivation caused by external incentives. For example, a student is not very interested in the subject of geography, but under the pressure of teachers and parents to study hard and avoid punishment, so that he gets a high score in the subject of geography, he is very interested in the high score result, this is called extrinsic motivation .

I think that I lack many strategies in learning, that is to say, I am not very good at learning and my learning efficiency is relatively low. After studying the chapter on learning strategies, I found that the psychology is too correct. In the past, there were many academic masters around me who planned their learning methods in this way. To give a very simple example: when we were in school, almost everyone had a wrong question book. Most of the students memorized the wrong question books in a very simple way, that is, to memorize them in order without any rules, which caused them to review the wrong questions. Sometimes the efficiency is very low. And students who study well, when they remember wrong questions, they will classify many wrong questions and put different wrong questions in different positions. This is the categorization strategy in psychology learning strategies. Now that I think about it, I really understand why they are academic masters, but I am not. The wrong question book is such an important thing, but I didn't make good use of it. I personally have another very big shortcoming, which is that I don’t like to make plans. For example, how much I learn today depends on my mood today. If I learn more smoothly today, I may learn more, and it’s a difficult thing to learn tomorrow. No matter how you think about it, you can’t understand it, and your future studies may be greatly affected. This shortcoming also determines that there will be a big gap with top students. Almost everyone who studies well is a master of time management. In psychology, there is a learning strategy called resource management strategy. There is a time management strategy, which is to use certain methods to arrange time reasonably and effectively use learning resources, including Arrange time reasonably and use different time to learn different content. For example, some people like to recite texts in the morning, because they feel that their heads are most awake in the morning, which is suitable for memorizing some long-winded things, and they will solve some difficult problems at night, because it is quieter at night. This is a very simple time management strategy. I also like to think about some difficult problems at night sometimes.

The planning strategy in the metacognitive strategy is to plan the expected results of various activities before the cognitive activities according to the specific goals of the cognitive activities. That is, before the start of learning on this day, we make a rough plan for the goal of learning today, such as when to learn what content and how long to study? An excellent student will most likely formulate a more detailed study plan before the start of daily study to assist them in today's study. And in the learning process, I will always judge the effect of my own learning. If I find a problem in the learning process, I will take corresponding remedial measures and adjust the strategy in time. I personally have a lot of room for improvement in this area, and I will improve my learning methods and learning process through the knowledge I have learned in psychology.

When some students learn new knowledge in school, they learn very fast. The teacher also told us not to memorize by rote, but to know how to master it. This term in psychology is called learning transfer. After learning this part of knowledge, I finally understand why some students accept new knowledge very quickly. First of all, their original cognitive structure is relatively rich, that is, That is to say, their own background knowledge is relatively rich, and even if their background knowledge is not so rich, they have their own learning strategies. For example, they can combine the new knowledge with the previous learning in their spare time after class Integrating knowledge and discovering the laws of it, in the end, I think my own psychological suggestion also has a great influence, that is, even if this thing is difficult, as long as you think you can learn it and work hard, you will definitely understand it. This incident reminded me of when I was studying genetic inheritance in biology class in high school. At that time, I thought this part was very difficult, but I gave myself a psychological hint that I would be able to understand it, so I listened to the teacher's lecture with all my attention. , As a result, my learning efficiency in that class was very high. As a result, after class, I found that I listened very clearly, and my understanding of this class even surpassed that of many students who are good at learning. Through this incident, I understand that psychological suggestion is indeed very important.
