"General Psychology" after reading_20170219

The book is a textbook for psychology majors, published by Beijing Normal University Press.
I read it one after another for more than a month. During this period, I also read "Organizational Behavior" by Renmin University Press. There is a lot of overlapping knowledge in the behavior part. Reading against each other is very helpful for the consolidation of knowledge.
The book gives a systematic introduction to the knowledge related to psychology, from the development history of psychology to all aspects involved in psychology (basic textbooks, worthy of their name).
From simple neurons to complex brains, vision, hearing, taste, smell, etc. have been introduced in detail, so that at the beginning, I even felt that this was an anatomy book (I thought that psychology was more emphasis on brain).
After I finished reading, I found that the author’s arrangement was really reasonable, because without the physical foundation of human beings and only talking about the appearance of behavior, it actually became the study of psychology, and psychology is a science, and it must be systematic. Based on scientific experiments, it must conform to basic logic.
The book is full of experiments and contains many conflicting views (mainly because some questions are still open to conclusion).
"Psychology is the son of philosophy and religion." Religion and philosophy have a history of thousands of years, while psychology, or scientific psychology, has a history of more than 100 years, and there are still too many unanswered questions. This is where psychology is interesting. Of course, in this short 100 years, countless master-level figures have emerged.
Based on the knowledge provided by this book, if you look at some popular books, you will find that the opinions are not credible. One is citing very old opinions in the industry that have been proved to be incorrect, and the other is one-sided misinterpretation of the results of scientific experiments. Really infuriating.
A very good book, thanks to my wife, she didn't know when she bought this book, it gave me the opportunity to learn so much knowledge.

By reading this book, you can understand human behavior more scientifically, and you can also prevent being misled by various chicken soup articles, so it is strongly recommended to read.
