Confluence 6 Using Themes

Themes are used to modify the appearance of a Confluence site or space.

Confluence comes with a single default theme installed, or you can download and install other themes. You can search for the theme you want from The Atlassian Marketplace .

Once a theme is installed, the theme can be applied to the entire site or to a specific space.

Want to see the themes installed on your site:

  1. Go to  >  General Configuration > Themes .
  2. You can see a list of all themes installed in your site.

The global theme used by the current site will be applied when a new space is created. Space themes can be modified and adjusted by any user with space administrator privileges.

A note on the Documentation theme

Documentation themes are available in Confluence 5.9 and earlier. Many features of the documentation theme are now also available in the Confluence default theme.

See the Develop Technical Documentation in Confluence page for information on using documentation themes and default themes.

Go to the menu of the theme page
