Files can be thumbnails or links in the page displayed. There are several ways we can upload files, please refer to the Upload Files page.
You can control how files are displayed on your page. Available methods shown in the page file associated with your file type.
Insert a file to your page
There are several ways we can insert a file below into your page:
- Select the editor toolbar insertion (Insert) > Files (Files) , and then select any of the pre-file has been uploaded to the page.
- Drag the file directly into the editor (this method will allow to upload and insert at once), or
- Input! Select from the drop down automatically select a displayed page to attach to.
Your file will be displayed as thumbnails in your page, click on the thumbnails can be resized to thumbnails or displayed as links.
Insert a file attached to other pages
You can display additional file to other pages in the same Confluence site, provided that you need to know the name of this file.
Other pages you want to display a picture attached to
- Into the insert (Insert)> Files (Files) and select Search other pages (ON OTHER Pages and the Search) .
- Enter the file name.
- Find or choose to search in the current space, all space (All Spaces) and then select the search (Search) .
- Select the file from the search results, then select the insert (Insert) .
Insert a picture file from the web (web)
You can display a remote web page picture in Confluence, without the need to speak after downloading files uploaded to your Confluence site. You need to know the URL address of the remote picture, rather than the address of the remote Web pages.
In this way only for valid image files, you can not insert other types of files (such as documents).
I want to display a picture from a remote web page:
- When you edit the Confluence page, move the cursor to where you want to insert a remote image.
- Select insert (Insert) > Files (Files) and select the remote web pictures (ImagesRF Royalty Free from at The web) .
- Enter the picture URL (for example: http://atlassian.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/AtlassianBushRegeneration-12January2012-083-trunc.jpg ).
- Then select Preview (Preview) check the URL displayed correctly inserted pictures master.
- Select insert (the Insert) .
Delete files from your page
If you delete a file or picture editor, has uploaded files will not be deleted. To Go 
> Attachments to late delete attachments from the page.
The emergence of 'unknown attachment' placeholder in your page? This represents the file attachments display this page on this page (or any other page) has been deleted.
