dhcp:
Basic Concept: Lease: Ensure that in a broadcast network, only one DHCP service is running normally
Lease renewal: When the enterprise's DHCP fails, it will not immediately cause the failure of the enterprise's internal network
DHCP server deployment and configuration
Basic deployment: If the current server environment is in an AD domain environment, the server must be authorized by the AD domain before it can be used normally, to avoid network failures caused by authorized DHCP services
Scope:
Address Range: A collection of IP address ranges allocated for the specified network range
Configuration options: Additional network information other than IP basic information to assign for the specified network range
The scope takes effect: the local network connection and IP address of the DHCP server and the IP address of the network connection specified by the scope are in the same scope (same broadcast domain and same subnet)
Multiple network scopes, you can configure multiple network cards in the DHCP server, connect different network broadcast scopes, and create multiple corresponding scopes to provide DHCP address services for the specified scopes
Multiple network ranges, or a single network card can be configured in the DHCP server, but the network card must be connected to a routing device with DHCP relay agent service
Configure scope: Define the name of the specified scope (scope name)
Define a range of IP addresses for the specified range
Define the lease period
Defines the IP address of the gateway for the specified range of networks
Configuration options: Add different configuration options information for application requirements of different scopes
server options - scope options - reserved
Global - current scope - specified computer Effective scope
reserved - scope - server priority
Advanced Deployment
High availability (failover)
Deployment requirements: Two domain member servers with DHCP service installed and authorized
Configuration: Configure failover in either DHCP server
DHCP DNS client update
DHCP server can be configured to proxy update DNS records for client computers
Add the computer account of the DHCP server in AD to the DNSUpdateProxy group
