In the second half of 2020, the edge cloud service trust capability evaluation results are announced. In the
second half of the year, after a series of processes such as registration, on-site testing, and expert review, Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd.'s Inspur Cloud ICP Edge and Huawei Software Technology Co., Ltd.'s Huawei Cloud-Smart The edge cloud IEC service passed this assessment.
This assessment is conducted in accordance with the "Internet Edge Cloud Service Trust Capability Requirements" standard, which stipulates the terms and definitions of edge cloud services, the framework of edge cloud service trust capabilities, enterprise attributes, capability requirements, and service guarantees. Applicable to cloud computing service providers that provide edge cloud services.
The new standard of MEC edge cloud platform joins
the new infrastructure wave represented by 5G to accelerate the progress of the distributed cloud era. Cloud and edge collaborative applications have brought huge opportunities and unknown challenges to the development of MEC. Ensure the effective integration of cloud and MEC, standardize 5G-oriented MEC edge cloud capability requirements, promote the opening of network capabilities and combine with cloud to provide service capabilities. The basis of standards will help us to quickly usher in the industrialization of 5G-oriented MEC field achievements.
The Cloud Edge Collaborative Working Group of China Communications Standards Association Cloud Computing Standards and Open Source Promotion Committee (CCSA TC608) has been focusing on research work in the distributed cloud field since 2018. Among them, the "5G-oriented MEC Edge Cloud Platform Capability Requirements" has been held several seminars and in-depth discussions with various experts and representatives, and the preparation of the standard has been completed.

MEC Edge Cloud Platform Capability Trial Evaluation-Refer to the "5G-oriented MEC Edge Cloud Platform Capability Requirements" for infrastructure capabilities, collaboration capabilities, network capabilities, cloud network capabilities, edge cloud unified management platform capabilities, security capabilities, metering and billing Test the MEC edge cloud platform capabilities as required by specific indicators such as capabilities and service guarantee capabilities.
