英语作文，一般分成三个段落：
开头段、主体段、总阶段
每一段，都由特定功能的句子构成，也就是我们要说的 Essay Map.
开头段
开头段请注意两个字：简洁。Essay Map 中由两句话构成：
1.第一句，引出话题背景，通常有三种情况：
- 描述一个现象：In recently years, ____ has become a focus of concern among ____.
- 介绍发展趋势：Nowadays, there is a growing tendency among ____ to _____.
- 描述一个客观事实：Over the past decade , the advances in _____ have revolutionized _______.
2.第二句，回应写作任务，针对两种不同的文体，写作方式也不同：
- 议论文：表明自己的立场/观点：For my perspective, it is advisable that ______.
- 说明文：表明写作的目的/意图（原因/措施/影响）:The essay will analyze / discuss _____ and _____.

主体段值得注意的是，要既有分析，又有举例。主要由两部分组成：

1.主题句，有四种写作角度：
- 谈论看法：There are several strong arguements for / againest ______.
- 分析原因：_____ may be caused by several factors.
- 提出措施：To _____, effective action should be taken.
- 讨论影响：_____ has brought a lot of benefits but has created some serious problems as well.
2.衔接手段:
One of the major reasion / benefits / drawback is (that) _____, Another contributor / positive effect / negative impact is (that) _____.The most obvious cause / advantage / disadvantage is (that) _____.
总阶段
总阶段一定要注意表明你的态度，阐述你的观点，是你的，不是别人的。主要有三句构成：
1.重申观点：As mentioned above, we could conclude that _____.
2.强调主题，有三种写作角度：
- 分析原因： To sum up, _____ is not due to a single cause, but due to a combination of factors.
- 提出措施：The solution to _____ rely on the cooperation between _____ and _____.
- 讨论影响：In short, it is undeniable that _____ is not only beneficial / damaging to _____, but also does good / harm to ____.
3.展望号召，有三种写作角度：
- 预测发展趋势/潜在影响：As long as _____ fully realize the significance of ____ and start taking action, I believe that _____ could be overcome.
- 发出强烈呼吁：It is (high) time that _____ paid attention to _____ and took coordinated action to _____.
