I only went to few cities due to various reasons in my life. I finished my college in Mianyang, then I worked for short time in Shenzhen’s company as an apprenticeship. I worked in Xiamen for three months. Later, I always stay in Huizhou for more than ten years. About other cities, such as Beijing, shanghai, jiangshu, Kunming and so on, I only had a visit experience. Among the cities where I have lived, I tend to like Xiamen city.
This is known to all that Xiamen is a beautiful city that many people visit there. It is also a well-known tourist city in the Southeast coast of china. Though I only had a living experience for three months there, the past matters were impressive to me. After I left there for several years, I visited there again twice for travel. I emphasize the city due to the following some reasons.
First, Xiamen has a temperate weather. Compared with other cities, such as Beijing, shanghai, I think Xiamen is a pleasant city in which to live long. About the weather, there is not only no chilly winter like Bejing, but also summer is less hot than Wuhan. Especially, the beautiful landscape and those various well-known natural sites definitely attract your attention. I visited Gulangyu three times. The island is famous for its architecture. The Piano Museum is located there, which is the china’s largest museum. When you take a walk there, you can appreciate beautiful natural scenery and you also enjoy great music. So, Gulangyu is also called an island of music.
Another reason I like Xiamen is, there are enough public activity areas. No matter where you live, you can find a comfortable place to do exercise. You can go jogging around Huandao road or parks, which is very satisfactory in runners’ eyes. However, if you live in Beijing, though there are many large parks there, I heard that most of the public activity locations were very far from uptown. When I think of the winter of Beijing so cold, I fear going out. Not mention to parks for jogging.
When I prepared for today’s writing task, at first, I thought of MianYang city, where I stayed there for three years in my college life. However, the Holy spirit told me that I need to concern XiaMen’s living memory. Though I only lived there for three months, there was a sad past I never mentioned that I had an abortion in XiaMen. Nowadays, abortion has become so out of control. In my past point, I thought that was a natural process if I couldn’t raise a baby. But in God’s eyes, this is a kind of sin. Pastor said that Child was a gift God gives and parents can’t kill them in the belly. I can understand my mistakes as a Christian. Now I only can do to pray for forgiving my sins due to my young and foolish in the past. If I became a Christian earlier, my life would have many differences. Anyway, I thank God giving me the reminding.
