Model thinking lecture note (5)

In this part, i will introduce how to solve the problem.

(1) Perspective

Perspective means how you encode the question. you can explain the question in many ways, but how you explain the question may lead to several outlook. The best encoding question way may be just 1 local optima in the outlook.

(2)Heuristic

Heuristic means how you likely to solve the problem. Remember no free lunch theorem, when you don't know the question exactly ,no solution is not better than another. In order to find the global optima, you need to solve the problem like a drunk rabbit which means you may want to do the opposite things.

(3)Teams & problem solving

A group of people may just get stuck at the intersection optima. And a group of people have diversity perspective and heuristic are important to solve the problem.

In this part, i will talk about markov convergence theorem.

This model has 2 assumptions.

(1) There are finite states.

(2) The transmission probability is fixed.

Finally each state remain stable which means there are no switching in these states.

Though finally the system may go to equilibrium, which dose not mean we can do nothing to delay the equilibrium.
