kaggle账号被lock的问题及解决

前不久，笔者的kaggle账号在登录时失败了，提示如下信息：

Your account is locked. Please contact support for more information.

笔者一时莫名其妙，之前一直都能够正常登录的kaggle帐号怎么就突然被锁定了？没办法，只能按照提示联系kaggle support。

给kaggle support发邮件，内容如下：

收件人：support<[email protected]>

正文：

Dear Kaggle Support,

I used my account [email protected] with my phone number +86013xxxxxxxxx to login kaggle, but there is then a message reply to me "Your account is locked. Please contact support for more information."

It's important for me to download data in kaggle for finishing my dissertation, so could you please unlock my account?

注意，与老外打交道尽量用外国的交流方式，尤其是语气上。

 

 

发完这封邮件后不久，得到了kaggle的一个自动回复：

Your request (37341) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.

第2天一上班，打开邮箱，发现kaggle support回复了：

Your request (37342) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email.

Kaggle Support (Kaggle) Jul 27, 2020, 1:22 PM PDT Hello XXXX, Thank you for your inquiry. Our records show that you have 2 usernames with Kaggle: this one (xxx) and the other (xxx1). Per the Terms agreed upon prior to account registration, please note that Kaggle allows only one account per user. We do not merge accounts nor transfer accomplishments from one account to another. We recommend continuing to use just your "xxx1" account. Note this as a warning: continued creation of additional accounts can lead to disqualification to entered competitions and all of your accounts being banned.   Regards, The Kaggle Team

意思是说我有另一个帐号也使用的同样的邮箱和手机号，一个邮箱和手机号只能对应一个帐号，因此他们建议我使用另一个。

但是我不记得我何时开过另一个kaggle账号了，而且被锁定的这个才是我一直使用的，因此我又给他们回了一封邮件：

Deer kaggle support,

To the issue 23471, I've got your reply, thanks! 

According to your reply, you advice me to use account xxx1, but I can't remember when I created the account xxx1 and I never used it, and I have tried account xxx1 followed by your suggestion, but it seems something wrong.

So could you please help me delete the account xxx1 and recover the locked account xxx? Thanks very much.

之后，就又收到了一封kaggle系统自动回复的邮件。

之后又过了一天，打开邮箱，发现kaggle support发来了邮件：

Kaggle Support (Kaggle) Jul 28, 2020, 9:08 AM PDT Hello xxx, Thank you for your update. We have unblocked your "enterUsername" Kaggle account. Once logged in, you should now be able to go through the steps to verify the phone number in your account again. Please make sure to include the country code. Regards, The Kaggle Team

我再次尝试登录，这一次就恢复正常了。
