live a healthy life

My friend Mike is under a great deal of stress preparing for an upcoming contest these days. He often sits and works for a whole day, struggling tough problems and as a result having no time for outdoor activities. I am worried about him as his circumstance and response to it may bring some potential hazards to cardiovascular system as far as I am concerned.

Sedentary lifestyle and stressful situation can lead to heart disease. According to reading “heart disease”, sedentary lifestyle may slow down blood flow and make arteries blocked, consequently increase the likelihood of suffering heart attack. In addition, based on the same reading, stress can impose high psychological demand and make body susceptible to all sorts of lesions. These are among the many factors related to higher risk of heart attack.

However, there is a simple way to reduce these risks and create the conditions for greater healthfulness. Exercise can make an impact on body both physically and psychologically. Exercise tend to keep vessel open and increase blood flow, therefore reduce the risk of heart disease in varying degree, depending on frequency. What’s more, exercise is likely to prompt certain chemicals to release. Such substances are helpful to alleviate negative emotions, supported by reading “healthful behavior”. Exercise plays a vital role in the face of stress and prevention of heart disease.

Stress is inevitable for most of us, which is particularly true for Mike. I have persuaded Mike to try to manage it properly and it is my belief that only in this way can we live a healthier life.
