If you are looking for a perfect environment for development work, I bet you can not find more than Pop! _OS better choice.

Admittedly, this is a hot topic in fact very difficult to summarize the topic. why? First of all, Linux is a kind of operating system in productivity. Due to its highly reliable and stable platform that makes it easy to complete the work. Secondly, in order to measure the efficiency of the work, you need to take into account what work needs to boost productivity of. Is the daily office? Development of class work? School affairs? Data Mining? Or human resources? You can see how complex this issue.
However, this does not mean that some distributions can not be a better allocation of the underlying operating system is presented as an effective platform to complete the work. On the contrary, many distributions farther and farther down this road deviation productivity, so you will not recognize yourself in the work of the predicament, but continue to tap their potential before the end of the duration desperately to catch up. These Linux distributions can help you simplify, reduce pain and therefore may be able to point you in the workflow.
Let us look at these releases and for you to find the best option for you. For more coherent, I follow the demands of productivity divide them into several categories. The task itself is a challenge, because everyone needs on productivity gains are vastly different. However, my concern is the following items:
- General: suitable for those who only need to complete a number of effective work.
- Design: suitable for those who are engaged in the design and creation of image processing.
- Development: suitable for those who use Linux desktop distribution for programming work.
- O & M: suitable for those who need a release to facilitate their implementation of system administration tasks.
- Education: suitable for those who need desktop distribution can help them be more efficient in the field of education.
Admittedly, there are many types of distributions to choose from, many of which may use them very handy, but five kinds may be your most needed.
conventional
For conventional productivity demands, you will not find a more efficient than Ubuntu. In this category the most important Ubuntu main reason is because it implements the desktop operating system, software, services, seamless integration. You may ask why I did not choose the same category Linux Mint do? Because Ubuntu is now the default desktop environment GNOME desktop, but it has many advantages GNOME extensions of addition (Figure 1).

运维
如果你正在寻找适合系统管理的最具生产力的发行版， Debian 将会是你的不二之选。为什么这么说呢？因为 Debian 不仅仅拥有无与伦比的可靠性，它也是众多能从苦海中将你解救出来的最好的一个发行版。Debian 是易用性和无限可能性的完美结合。最重要的是，因为它是许多其他发行版的基础，所以可以打赌，如果你需要一个任务的管理工具，那么它一定支持 Debian 系统。当然，我们讨论的是一般的系统管理任务，这意味着大多数时候你需要使用终端窗口 SSH 连接到服务器（图 4），或者在浏览器上使用网络上基于 web 的 GUI 工具。既然如此为什么还要使用一个增加复杂性的桌面呢（比如 Fedora 中的 SELinux 或 openSUSE 中的 YaST）呢？所以，应选择更为简洁易用的那一种。

你可以选择你想要的不同的桌面（包括 GNOME、Xfce、KDE、Cinnamon、MATE、LXDE），可以确保你所使用的桌面外观最适合你的工作习惯。
教育
如果你是一名老师或学生，抑或是其他从事与教育相关工作的人士，你需要适当的工具来提高生产力。之前，有 Edubuntu 这样的版本。这一版本位列教育类相关发行版排名的前列。然而，自从 Ubuntu 14.04 版之后这一发行版就再也没有更新。还好，现在有一款基于 openSUSE 的新的以教育为基础的发行版有望夺摘得桂冠。这一改版叫做 openSUSE:Education-Li-f-e （Li-f-e：Linux For Education - 图 5），它基于 openSUSE Leap 42.1 （所以它可能稍微有一点过时）。

Also integrated in openSUSE: Education-Li-fe is also KIWI-LTSP Server. KIWI-LTSP server is a flexible, cost-effective solutions designed to enable schools, businesses and organizations around the world to easily install and deploy desktop workstations. While this may not directly help students become more productive, but it certainly will make education institutions more efficient in the deployment of desktops for students to use.
