2019年上半年，中国X86服务器市场从厂商来看，按出货量前三名厂商依次为浪潮、戴尔和华为，按销售额前三名厂商依次为浪潮、华为和新华三；从行业来看，互联网、政府和电信依然是前三大行业，占据整体市场出货量60%以上的份额，互联网和政府行业呈现负增长，电信行业呈现小幅正增长。金融和制造行业的出货量增速均超过10%，其中金融行业加快互联网金融、手机银行和AI技术应用等建设，制造行业的增长主要来自于手机制造商在自有平台搭建应用商店和云服务；从产品来看，厂商持续加大对新技术的投入和研发，推出更多面向云计算、人工智能、边缘计算等应用场景的服务器产品，以期在服务器细分市场迅速抢占份额。
IDC中国X86服务器市场高级分析师段萌认为：“2019年中美贸易战对中国服务器市场产生了一定的影响，不仅对部分厂商的服务器业务和供货产生影响，同时服务器厂商未来面对宏观环境的不可抗力风险以及中国整体服务器市场未来的不确定性因素都在显著增加。在2019年上半年中国X86服务器市场增速回落的情况下，IDC预计，2019全年中国X86服务器市场仍然面临较大挑战，增速相比过去几年将明显放缓。2020之后，随着5G和边缘计算有望迎来爆发性增长，将带动新一轮中国服务器市场的增长。”
