NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Moody's (Moody's Corporation, NYSE: MCO) today announced that it has appointed Shivani Kak as the new Head of Investor Relations, and the appointment of David Hogan as interim chief financial officer. Salli Schwartz will Moody's current global strategy for capital management at September 6, 2019 to leave the company for greener pastures.
Ms. Hogan and Mr. Kak will both report to Chief Financial Officer Mark Kaye. As head of investor relations, Ms. Kak will oversee Moody's relations with existing and potential shareholders and investors, and manage Moody's Investor Relations team. Mr. Hogan is responsible for Moody's finance function, including cash management and capital allocation activities. Moody's has already begun looking for a formal Treasurer.

Ms. Kak from Moody's Investors Service business team, she is responsible for managing the sales team in the United States the structured finance team. Since 2008 joined Moody's, she held various senior commercial positions in product management and business development. She is in the first position, Moody's structured finance analyst. Prior to joining Moody's, she held positions at Lehman Brothers and KPMG Russia. Ms. Johnson School of Management Kak has an MBA in finance from Cornell University.
Hogan joined Moody's and served as vice president, revenue accounting and billing in July 2010. He served in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region Comptroller from June 2013 to September 2016, after the New York Assistant Corporate Controller. He graduated from Rutgers University School of Business, New York State has a CPA certificate.
