vmware vSphere Data Protection 6.1部署

I. Introduction

Two, vsphere client deployment

　　1, vsphere client login to the need to deploy a host of exsi

　　2, click File -> Templates deployment ovf

　　3. Select the file ovf

　　13、部署成功后打开虚拟控制台

　　　　ip地址不对是应为之前选错了目标网络，改过来重启即可

　　14、web登陆

　　　　访问上面的地址：https://192.168.216.200:8543/vdp-configure

　　　　用户名root/changeme登陆

三、exsi主机vsphere web client 创建ovf vdp

　　1、登陆到exsi主机，暂停vdp1

　　2、看一下部署交互界面的流程

　　3、点击创建

　　4、选择创建类型，选择从ovf创建

　　5、添加文件及虚拟机命名

　　6、选择存储

　　7、license 许可同意下一步

　　8、网络选择及磁盘配置

　　　　可以看到也是不能选择vds的

　　9、准备完成点击完成

　　注意：上面有个小提示部署这个虚拟机时不要刷新浏览器（可能容易出错吧）

　　10、然后看看最近的任务，已经开始了，然后就是等待一会吧

　　11、打开虚拟终端查看

　　注意：vsphere client 和vsphere web client 都是出现的问题：网络信息不对，手动改一下应该就可以了，这里就不演示效果了，暂停掉用vcsa部署看看吧

四、vcsa部署ovf-vdp

　　按照官方给的参考部署

　　1、vcsa部署vdp，整个部署过程（web client）

　　　　1 从 Web 浏览器访问 vSphere Web Client：

　　　　　　https://<vCenter Server 的 IP 地址 >:9443/vsphere-client/

　　　　2 以管理权限登录。

　　　　3 选择 “vCenter”>“ 数据中心 ”。

　　　　4 在 “ 对象 ” 选项卡上，单击 “ 操作 ”>“ 部署 OVF 模板 ”。

　　　　5 如果系统提示是否允许并安装 VMware Client 集成插件，请允许并安装该插件。　　　

　　　　6 选择 VDP 应用装置所在的源。默认情况下， “ 文件名 ” 对话框设置为 “OVF 产品包 (*.ovf)”。从 “ 文件名 ” 右侧的下拉框中，选择 “OVA 产品包 (*.ova)”。

　　　　7 导航到 VDP 应用装置 .ova 文件的位置。确认为该数据存储区选择适当的文件。单击 “ 打开 ”。

　　　　8 选择 VDP 应用装置 .ova 文件后，单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　9 复查模板的详细信息，然后单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　10 在 “ 接受 EULA” 屏幕上，阅读许可协议，单击 “ 接受 ”，然后单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　11 在 “ 选择名称和文件夹 ” 屏幕上，为该 VDP 应用装置键入名称。键入名称时，请采用完全限定的域名(FQDN)，VDP 配置将依据此名称在 vCenter 清单中查找 VDP 应用装置。请不要在安装后更改 VDP 应用装置名称。

　　　　12 单击要部署 VDP 应用装置的文件夹或数据中心，然后单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　13 在 “ 选择资源 ” 屏幕上，为此 VDP 应用装置选择主机，然后单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　14 在 “ 选择存储 ” 屏幕上，选择虚拟磁盘格式，然后为此 VDP 应用装置选择存储位置。单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　15 在 “ 设置网络 ” 屏幕上，为此 VDP 应用装置选择目标网络，然后单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　16 在 “ 自定义模板 ” 屏幕上，指定 “ 默认网关 ”、“DNS”、“ 网络 1 IP 地址 ” 和 “ 网络 1 网络掩码 ”。确认IP 地址正确无误并且与 DNS 服务器中的条目匹配。如果在此对话框中设置了错误的 IP 地址，系统会要求重新部署 .ova。单击 “ 下一步 ”。

　　　　备注 VDP 应用装置不支持 DHCP。静态 IP 地址是必需的。

　　　　17 在 “ 即将完成 ” 屏幕上，确认所有部署选项均正确无误。选中 “ 部署后通电 ”，然后单击 “ 完成 ”。vCenter 将部署 VDP 应用装置，然后启动并进入安装模式。您可以监视 “ 最近的任务 ”，以确定部署何时 完成。

　　2、部署中出现的问题

　　　　1）问题1，无法下一步

　　　　2）在https://communities.vmware.com/message/2703672?tstart=0里面看到确实有人遇到此问题，这里没有深研试了一下 vsphere client （html5）的方式也是不行就卡在validating

　　　　3）可以试试一个方法，这里没有测试

I have same error and follow those steps:

 

1.  download the ovf tool  https://code.vmware.com/tool/ovf/4.1.0

2.  from command line run

ovftool    oldfile.ova    newfile.ova
