Caliber 7.3 released, powerful open source e-book tool

The Caliber open source project is Caliber's official e-book management tool. It can view, convert, edit and classify e-books in all major formats. Caliber is a cross-platform software that can run on Linux, Windows and macOS.

New features

  • Tag browser: Allows buttons to be displayed next to items with comments or links for easier access. Enable via Preferences->Look & feel->Tag browser.

  • Edit book: Fixed an issue where the "Show changes" window moved down a few pixels each time it was opened

  • Amazon metadata download: Fixed various changes to Amazon site markup

  • E-book viewer: GDPR pre-approved when looking up words on Google in Europe Consent to cookies

  • Windows: Content server: Fix regression in previous version that broke local connection tests

  • Windows: Fixed a regression that caused selections in the book details panel to be invisible
