Calibre 5.12 released, a powerful open source e-book tool

The Caliber open source project is an official e-book management tool published by Caliber. It can view, convert, edit and categorize e-books in all mainstream formats. Caliber is a cross-platform software that can run on Linux, Windows and macOS.

Calibre 5.12 is officially released. The update content is as follows:

New features

  • E-book viewer: When searching, search from the current position and jump to the current page or the first matching item after the current page
  • E-book viewer: The "Table of Contents" view automatically scrolls to make the chapter currently being read visible

  • Edit book: File browser: When hovering over the category with the mouse, the total size of the items in the category is displayed

Bug fix

  • Get books: Update Biblio and Chitanka stores for website changes
  • Edit book: Fix the problem that the JavaScript file cannot be edited
