3.VMware install CentOS

1. Content settings before installation:

The user's full name can be set arbitrarily, keeping it simple

 The disk size can be selected according to the actual situation. I chose a single file for the virtual disk, which is more convenient for later management;

Later, you can also customize the hardware information.

2. Operation steps during installation

Since VMware has enabled easy installation, you just need to wait patiently;

You need to create a USER CREATION during the process, otherwise you will not be able to log in to the system after booting;

 Just start the first one by default

3. Language settings after installation

Select Application-Tool-Settings

 Successful installation!

4. Switch the graphical interface to the command interface

The command prompt interface takes up less memory and is more efficient, so we can choose to switch to the command prompt interface.

systemctl set-default multi-user.target

Check the default target to enter after the virtual machine is started.

systemctl get-default

graphical.target represents the graphical interface

multi-user.target represents the command prompt interface

How to switch back to the graphical interface?

systemctl set-default graphical.target
