2. Install the virtual machine
1. Double-click to open VMware-workstation-full-16.1.0-17198959.exe ;
2. Check I accept the terms of the license agreement (A) and click Next (N) ;
3. Use the default installation path, or select Change... to select the installation path, check to add the VMware Workstation console tool to the system PATH , and then click Next (N) ;
4. Uncheck Start to check for product updates (C) and join the VMWare Customer Experience Improvement Program (J) -> Next (N) ;
5. Go directly to the next step (N) ;
6. Click Install (I) ;
7. After the installation is completed, click License (L) , then enter the license key or click Trial for 30 days -> Finish (E) .

1. After installation, open it and click to create a new virtual machine ;
2. Select Custom (Advanced) (C) -> Next (N) ;
3.Next step(N) ;
4. Browse (R)... select the iso image;

how to download?
1. Enter CentOs official website: The CentOS Project and click Download ;
2. Click x86_64 ;
3. Select the Alibaba Cloud mirror: http://mirrors.aliyun.com/centos/7.9.2009/isos/x86_64/ ;
4. Click CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-2009.iso to download ;
After downloading and selecting the iso image, we continue with the next step:
4. Enter the virtual machine name (V): , browse (R)... select the storage location of the virtual machine -> Next (N) ;
5.Next step(N) ;
6. Select the memory of the virtual machine. It is recommended to choose between 2GB - 16GB -> Next (N) ;

13. Click Customize Hardware (C)... ;
13.1. Customize hardware (C)... Click New CD/DVD (IDE) , and use ISO image file (M): Check whether the path of your ios image file is correct -> Close ;
14. Check the box to turn on this virtual machine after creation (P) and click Finish ;
15. Because Automatically turn on this virtual machine (P) was checked earlier, the virtual machine will be turned on automatically after completion. Select the first item with the cursor and press the enter key to install;
16. Click I have completed the installation ;
17. Then there will be an installation process. Please wait patiently. After the installation is completed, this interface will pop up:
Pull the selection box to the bottom in the left frame, or search for Chinese , select Chinese , select Simplified Chinese (China) in the right frame , and then select Continue (C) ;
18. Then the interface will pop up, there are 4 places that need to be set ( note: these operations require a network connection );
18.1. Select Network and Hostname (N) to turn Ethernet off to on ;
18.2. Select date and time (T) ;
Click the settings icon behind the network time (N) ;
Uncheck the 4 checked host names;
Fill in the 7 NTP time servers provided by Alibaba Cloud and select 3 to fill in. ( After filling in one, click + to fill in the next one again )

18.3.Select software selection (S) ;
Select Infrastructure Server- > Debugging Tools- > Done (D) ;
18.4. Select the installation location (D) ;
Select automatic configuration partition (U) -> Complete (D) ;
19. After the above 4 steps are all set up, wait for a while and all the gray icons will slowly turn to black, then click to start the installation (B) ;
20. It is being installed at this time... During the process of waiting for the installation, you can set the ROOT password (required) . It is not necessary to create a user (U) , and you can create it or not;
20.1. After clicking the ROOT password to enter;
Root password (R) : Enter the password;
Confirm (C) : Enter the password again;
Then complete (D) ;
21. Restart (R) after the installation is complete ;
23. After loading for a while, this message will pop up:
login : fill in root by default;
password : fill in the password you set when installing CentOS 7;
Press enter (Enter key) and it’s finally done! ! !
The last thing to talk about is the switching between VM virtual machine and Widows system (although you will all know it by then):
Return to Widows system, press: Ctrl + Alt ;
Return to the VM virtual machine: click on the black window of the virtual machine or press: Ctrl + G.
