"Funny Love" Reading Notes

"Funny Love" Reading Notes

Insert image description here

It was recommended by a classmate of Sichuan University whom I met during the summer. He said that one of his favorite writers is Milan Kundera and that he likes his short story collection "Funny Love". So I went to Wuhan Central Bookstore and bought two books. I also bought a book called "Curtain", which I haven't read yet.

This book contains several short stories. The most impressive one is the first one, "No One Can Laugh." The title of the book is Funny Love, but the first chapter says that no one can laugh? The protagonist is a professor. Because he insists on the value and significance of the article, he is unwilling to write a recommendation letter for a bad article. However, he is unwilling to hurt the author's heart, so he tells a lie and keeps lying to cover it up. Lying is just like talking normally, and in the end you lose your job and your lover.

In addition, there is another article called "Let the first dead give way to the last dead." I have heard this sentence for a long time, and it actually comes from this book.
