Basic description of automotive electronics environment

(1) Climatic conditions

①Temperature: Across all areas, generally -40°C~+85°C, +125°C near the engine

②Humidity: Wet in the south and dry in the north, causing insulation problems

③ Moisture: Rain, damp, etc. will be contaminated with water

④ Dust: Dust affects the work of switches, etc.

⑤Chemical substances: salt spray, etc., the car cleaning process will also come into contact with chemical substances

(2) Mechanical conditions

①Mechanical shock

②Mechanical vibration: the range is 5~2000Hz

(3) Electrical conditions

①Battery voltage and ground offset: When the car is powered on, the battery may have low voltage; if the charging system fails, there may be overvoltage;

There will be a pressure difference between the contacts of the different ground loops of the car

②Surge voltage: The voltage spike is mainly caused by turning on or off the load. Pay special attention to generator "load dumps", where most of the load on the generator is disconnected, while the generator itself is still working

③ Wireless electromagnetic wave interference

(4) Module function test level

Class A: All functions meet the design requirements under specified conditions and return to normal conditions

Class B: Under the specified conditions, all functions of the module meet the design requirements, allowing one or more to exceed the specified tolerance; when returning to normal conditions, all functions automatically return to the specified limit. The memory function shall comply with Class A.

Level C: Under the specified conditions, one or more functions of the module do not meet the design requirements; after returning to normal conditions, all functions automatically return to the specified limit.

Pole D: Under the specified conditions, one or more functions of the module do not meet the design requirements; after returning to normal conditions, the specified operation cannot be automatically restored, and the module needs to be reactivated by simple operation.

Pole E: Under the specified conditions, one or more functions of the module do not meet the design requirements; after returning to normal conditions, the specified operation cannot be automatically restored, and the module needs to be repaired or replaced.
