With the development of automotive electronics, electronic control units (ECUs) are widely used in automobiles, and the in-vehicle network becomes more and more complex. In the research and development stage of new models, use the professional simulation tool CANoe and its supporting products to test the in-vehicle network, and verify the reliability and security of the in-vehicle network has become a necessary means.
However, the use of CANoe is not convenient enough, the test cases are scattered and difficult to manage, and the test results are obscure and blunt. These problems are presented to the R&D personnel and testers of OEMs, resulting in low work efficiency and inconvenient analysis of test results. In order to solve the above problems and enable CANoe to work simply and efficiently, our company has developed and designed a tool platform with clear process, friendly interface and rich functions.

Overview of System Functions
The main functions of the platform are as follows:
(1) Configuration management: authorize and configure the vehicle models and nodes that need to be tested.
(2) Test management: test the configured model nodes and generate reports.
(3) Data management: including problem record table and comparison report, which can make users understand the errors in the test process more intuitively, filter and display through the provided screening function, and locate problems by comparing other passed test items for timely processing.
(4) Tool management: a collection of small tools to make global changes to configurations that need to be frequently modified. Among them, the configuration table, use case table, network segment baud rate, node configuration box, CAPL path, use case chapter, etc. can be flexibly configured.
(5) Log management: record the operation behavior of personnel using the software system.
(6) Personnel management: the function of defining the personnel who use the software system and controlling permissions.
System Test Environment
The system simulation test environment is composed of the simulation test cabinet, CANoe and its supporting products, and the simulation test bench.
Example of system function interface
(1) Model configuration interface: All model configuration information is flexibly managed here, and the authorization and configuration of the model can be seen at a glance.
(2) Use case configuration table interface: the use case table can configure CAN single node, CAN integration, LIN single node, LIN integration, J1939 single node, J1939 integration, OSEK single node, OSEK integration, bus-related DTC and other information.
(3) Automatic test interface: To test the configured model modules, the software automatically calls the CAPL script to interact with CANoe, and the corresponding hardware test unit will perform a pre-compilation to determine whether the required components are available, and then test, after the test is completed to view the generated report.
