Install UltraISO


1. Find the utraliso.zip in the tool and unzip it

 2. Select I accept the agreement 

3. Next step 

 4. Click Finish to complete the installation 

 5. If you are prompted that you are not registered, you can refer to the instructions in the compressed package.txt

 

Modify the Lao Maotao image 


1. Download Lao Maotao

2. Unzip

3. Double-click LaoMaoTao.exe to run the main program

 4. If prompted to update, click No

 

 5. Switch to ISO mode

 6. Click one button to generate an ISO file and wait for the file to be packaged

 

 

7. If these two errors are prompted, be sure to completely close the anti-virus software

 

 If you don't have additional antivirus software installed, go to Windows Security Center - Virus and Threat Protection - Administrative Settings and turn off all switches

 8. Select the generated Laomaotao ISO image and right-click - use

 

 

 9. Drag the IMG disk writing tool into the list on the right

 

 10. Unzip the downloaded openwrt-koolshare-router-v3.2-r19470-2f7d60f0e5-x86-64-generic-squashfs-combined-efi.img.gz into the decompressed directory and find the .img image file

 

11. We can modify the image name, I changed it to koolshare.img here

 

12. Drag koolshare.img into the right list of UltraISO

 

13. Click the save button and wait for the save to complete

 

Start Lao Maotao Mirror 


 1. Create a new virtual machine, select Typical, and click Next

 

2. Select the installer CD image file, which is our modified LaoMaoTao.iso file, and click Next

 

 

3. Select Microsoft Windows (W), and select Windows10 x64 for the version

4. Set the virtual machine name dxz_kool

 

5. The maximum disk size is set to 16G

 

6. Click Next Click Finish

7. Turn on this virtual machine

 

8. Wait to enter the system, if it takes a long time to start, please wait patiently

install koolshare (openwrt) 


1. Turn on This PC

2. Double-click to open the DVD drive

3. Find the IMG disk writing tool.exe, double-click to run, and click YES

 

4. Select the correct disk drive

 

5. Select the koolshare.img file

 

 

 

6. Click Start if prompted click Yes

7. Wait for the image file to be written

 

8. Close the win10 virtual machine

 

9. Edit this virtual machine

 

10. Select the default network driver and change to custom VMnet4 as the LAN port of the router. Because openwrt requires eth0 to be a LAN port by default, we set the default network adapter to be a LAN port.

 

11. Add a new network adapter and maintain NAT mode to be the WAN port of the router. Because koolshare (openwrt) considers eth1 as WAN port by default

 

12. Change the processor to 1

 

13. Change the memory to 1 and click OK to make the changes take effect

 

14. Start this virtual machine

 

15. Wait until the startup interface is no longer active, press Enter, and the following interface appears, which means success

 

16. View the IP address of the default LAN port

 

 

Modify koolshare (openwrt) network settings


1. Enter on the router command line page: vim /etc/config/network to modify the network IP address of the LAN port

2. Find 192.168.1.1 and change it to 172.16.102.3, then save and exit vim

 3. Restart the network service

service network restart

4. View the IP address of the LAN port

 

 

5. Browser access 172.16.102.3

 

6. Enter the password koolshare and click Login to log in to the koolshare console

 

7. Enter the state-overview We see that the DHCP service of the soft router has started to work

 

Test soft router 


1. Prepare a win7 virtual machine

 

2. Make sure that the network adapter is selected as custom VMnet4

3. Start the virtual machine to view the virtual machine IP address

 

4. Check the DHCP allocation record of the soft router console and find that it is consistent with the IP address of the WIN7 virtual machine
