On May 25th, Baidu Smart Cloud and the Shenyang Municipal Government co-hosted the "2023 Baidu-Shenyang Intelligent Computing Center Ecological Cooperation Conference". In the future, the Shenyang Intelligent Computing Center will not only include physical data center construction capabilities and intelligent computing infrastructure capabilities, but also comprehensive solutions for AI software and hardware ecological capabilities represented by large models, which can support computing tasks in different business scenarios of enterprises in the era of intelligent computing and industrial application requirements for large models . It will continue to give full play to the four core advantages of Baidu Intelligent Computing Center - powerful computing power, green and low-carbon, independent controllable and multi-scenario applications, bringing more tangible benefits to customers :

Like Baidu Yangquan Intelligent Computing Center, the largest single intelligent computing center in Asia, Shenyang Intelligent Computing Center will also be equipped with the first full-stack self-developed AI infrastructure in China, "Baidu AI Base", to provide industries in Shenyang with cost-effective intelligent computing power, self-developed deep learning framework, and a complete and rich large-scale model system. Baidu AI Big Base is composed of Baige heterogeneous computing platform and AI middle platform. It integrates Baidu's various AI technologies. It is an end-to-end, all-factor AI complete solution and the core key capability to support Baidu Smart Cloud's "integration of cloud and intelligence".

At the meeting, as an important driving force to detonate a new round of AI reengineering trends, the generative language model represented by Baidu's "Wenxin Yiyan" and the world's first one-stop enterprise-level large-scale model platform "Wenxin Qianfan Large Model Platform" attracted much attention. Wenxin Qianfan large-scale model platform can provide enterprises with large-scale model services including Wenxin Yiyan, and also supports third-party large-scale models, providing various tool chains and a complete set of environments for developing AI applications, allowing enterprises and developers to use large-scale models in the simplest way and make good use of large-scale models.

The reason why Wenxin Qianfan is capable of controlling large-scale heterogeneous computing power and providing high-level and easy-to-use large model services is also because Baidu AI Big Base is suitable for a wider range of AI scenarios and scientific computing scenarios, including building a proprietary model to solve a specific problem. With the support of Baidu AI Big Base, the large model can be efficiently and stably trained and effectively converged, which can increase the kilocalorie parallel acceleration ratio to more than 90%, the resource utilization rate of the training scene is more than 70%, and the iteration efficiency of model development is increased by more than 100%. At the same time, it also supports Wanka-level large-scale model training and provides single-cluster EFLOPS-level computing power. This cluster supports the rapid launch of Wenxin Yiyan.

In the future, Baidu Smart Cloud will start from Huanggu District and actively serve the digital and intelligent transformation of the six major industrial ecosystems in Shenyang.
