The main responsibilities of the Policy Research Institute are: to collect the technological innovation and industrial development policies issued by governments at all levels, and file them for release; interpret and profile the technological innovation and industrial development policies issued by governments at all levels, and compile and interpret the content; go to industrial parks, business associations, etc. to publicize the technological innovation and industrial development policies issued by governments at all levels; assist in the investigation of the implementation and implementation effects of technological innovation and industrial development policies issued by governments at all levels;
Based on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, relying on the resources and research strength of the Beijing and Guangzhou research institutes, the Policy Research Institute cooperates with domestic and foreign universities and research institutions to carry out diversified cooperation, introduces, re-employs and invites domestic and international first-class academicians, experts, specially-appointed professors and scholars to join; actively participates in the policy demonstration, formulation, interpretation, implementation, promotion and evaluation of party committees and governments at all levels. Focusing on the major decisions and important documents of the party and the government, it will focus on creating "three platforms" of policy research, enterprise management innovation consulting services, and cutting-edge theoretical research. It will mainly undertake the three major functions of policy research, enterprise consulting, and policy dissemination, and build an evaluation system for the effectiveness of industrial policies. It will provide important references for relevant government departments and industry associations in industrial policy transformation, help the sustainable development of industries, and strive to build a distinctive high-end think tank.
