1. Download and install VMware Workstation 14Pro (the window size of VMware12, 14, and 16 versions will be different)
Double-click to start the installed VMware virtual machine
2. Download CentOS 7.0 first
Download address CentOS 7.0.1406 Download CentOS Chinese Station - Focus on Linux Technology (centoschina.cn)
After opening the URL, pull it down to the bottom, as shown below, I chose the first download here
3. Install Linux
Start VMware, enter the main interface, click "Create a new virtual machine"
Enter the virtual machine setup wizard interface, select "Typical (recommended)", and click "Next".
Enter the interface for installing the client operating system. We have prepared the image file (.iso file) of the Linux system in advance. Here, you can select "Installer CD Image File" and use the "Browse" button to find the iso of the Linux system to be installed. file (that is, to download the file of CentOS 7.0); click "Next"
Enter the "Easy Installation Information" interface, give the virtual machine a name (such as "CentOS 7"), and then set your own user name and password (remember the full name, user name, and password, and you will need to log in later), click "Download step"
Enter the "Name the virtual machine interface", and change the default location through "Browse" (it is recommended to create a new folder storage on a disk other than the system disk. Click the "Next" button
Enter the "Specify Disk Capacity" interface. The default virtual hard disk size is 20GB. Click "Next"
Next, enter the "Ready to create a virtual machine" interface, confirm the virtual machine settings, and click the "Finish" button.
After the above steps, we have successfully installed the Linux system with the VMware virtual machine.
Double-click CentOS 7 64-bit under My Computer in the upper left corner, and then click the green start button in the red box or click "Start this virtual machine" in the red box below 
Click "OK"
Click CentOS 7 to enter the account password. If the numlock light on the keypad is off, press the numlock key to enter it.
Enter your password and click "Sign in"
Choose the language that suits you
Click the blue button to start using Linux
As shown in the figure, it proves that the installation is successful
After the above steps, we have successfully installed the Linux system with the VMware virtual machine.
