Now it is becoming more and more difficult to publish articles, and the rejection rate of journals in regions above 3 is generally above 70%. 12. Pay attention to the comments of the reviewers, especially the negative comments. The reviewers are very busy, and it took a lot of hard work (or no hard work) to form a one- or two-page review opinion. Reviewers' negative opinions represent the direction of improvement and promotion of the paper. (Mostly) the reviewers have no enmity with you, and they fault you for the sole purpose of being responsible to the journal and academically. In fact, it is also to improve your work level, and you must carefully revise it according to the opinions. If it is not revised, it may also be the opinion of the dissertation external reviewer. If the external review encounters serious opinions that affect the defense, the past few years may be in vain. Regarding the review comments, if you ignore them and submit to another journal directly, there is a great risk that the reviewer will fall into the hands of the same reviewer, and you will be killed without any suspense. As a reviewer, I encountered the same manuscript for the first time, and I raised my opinion for the first time. After being rejected, I changed it directly. Then, I came to me again, and then I found that there was no change, so I gave the journal a feedback: I reviewed this manuscript in another issue before, but it has not been revised. The manuscript was directly rejected by the journal without waiting for other comments to come back.
13. During the Ph.D. stage, you must regularly investigate the latest literature progress. Doctoral projects must be at the forefront of theory and technology. In small papers, if reviewers point out that important relevant documents are not cited, the outcome is likely to be rejection.
14. At the doctoral stage, one must consciously cultivate one's ability to express and communicate. Learn to use the simplest and most popular words to explain what you have studied to others. At least let people with certain scientific literacy understand how difficult your subject is and where your contribution lies.
15. At the doctoral stage, try to participate in as many academic conferences in the field as possible. Set up porcelain with the boss more, exchange ideas, and leave a positive impression on the boss, and there may be surprises in the future.
