The difference between PhD candidate and PhD student

Q: What is the difference between PhD candidate and PhD student?

A1: During the studies that lead to the degree, the student is called a doctoral student or PhD student; a student who has completed all of their coursework and comprehensive examinations and is working on their thesis/dissertation is sometimes known as a doctoral candidate or PhD candidate.

A2: A candidate is someone who has fulfilled all the requirements for the degree except the dissertation.

【PS】I wanna give you guys an advisable suggestion, DO NOT RUSH INTO MAKING A DECISION BEFORE APPLYING FOR A PHD!

Don’t call yourself a "Doctor" or "Dr." before you get a PhD! Education is only a master's degree! It's just a PhD student, and it doesn't even meet the requirements of a PhD candidate. There is no title without a degree! Mr. only...
