As a veteran of the Internet for many years, I can provide some information from the following perspectives:

Overtime is common : Programmers often need to work overtime to meet project needs or complete tasks. This means they often work evenings, weekends or holidays.

Socializing is not a strong suit : many programmers prefer to work independently and are not very good at socializing. Therefore, companies may need to encourage team building and interaction to improve teamwork.
Relatively high salary : Due to the high technical requirements and fierce competition in the IT industry, the salary of programmers is generally higher than that of other occupations.
