It is very helpful for beginners to learn Linux system. The installation steps of VMware16 software and the installation of Centos7 are explained in detail.

Before installing, please close the anti-virus software such as computer housekeeper to prevent the configuration from being written into the registry, which will cause subsequent installation failures.
1. Find the downloaded vm file, right-click to run as an administrator or directly double-click to run.
2. Enter the installation interface, click Next
3. First check I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next
4. Select the software installation path, which is installed on the c drive by default. Click Change to modify the installation path. Note: Do not use Chinese characters in the installation path, then click Next
5. Uncheck both user experience settings and click Next
7. Next step and then next step until the installation page appears, click Install
8. During the installation, the time may be a little long, please wait patiently
9. Click on the license, there is a license key in the compressed package downloaded by vm, just copy and paste it.
10. The installation is complete
After the installation is complete, the next step is to configure the Linux virtual machine in VMware
11. Double-click to open VMware Workstation Pro on the desktop to start running. The interface shown in the figure below appears. Click Create New Virtual Machine.
12. Select Custom and then Next
13. Continue to the next step, then select the installer CD image file, click Browse, find the CentOS image to start downloading, and click Next.
14. Set up an account, click Next
15. The name of the virtual machine (custom), click Next

18. Select the network type as: use network address translation (NAT), click Next
19. Default next step, in the next step. Come to the disk selection: create a new virtual disk, the next step
20. Disk capacity, 20 is enough, click Next
21. The disk file address selects the default, the next step
22. Complete the creation and start the installation
