Track 1: Intelligent O&M Competition
Currently, IT systems are gradually transforming from a monolithic architecture to a distributed, micro-service, and cloud-native architecture. Microservices-based architectures are gaining traction in business development. In a typical microservice scenario, a complete business request is often carried by applications distributed on multiple nodes, and in some complex businesses, dozens of microservice calls are involved.
When business requests slow down or fail online, engineers often need to find the key nodes and reasons in each call node and eliminate them. However, the scale of microservices complicates the entire positioning process, and the accuracy and timeliness of positioning through experience and manual methods become stretched.
As the three pillars of observability data, Logs, Traces, and Metrics can basically meet the needs of various analysis and troubleshooting. The purpose of this competition is to explore an automated fault location method, which can be analyzed based on the observation data (Metric, Trace) of the large-scale microservice system provided by Alibaba Cloud to diagnose high-delay business requests and find the root cause (RootCause ).
Track 2: Data Management Innovation Competition
The new technology paradigm represented by AIGC has continuously enriched the data management capability matrix, including three core capabilities of twinning, editing and creation.
