The 2nd Cloud Native Programming Challenge in 2021 is a top cloud native brand competition hosted by Alibaba Cloud and Intel, and jointly organized by Cloud Native Application Platform and Tianchi. This competition will deeply explore the three popular technical fields of RocketMQ, Dubbo3 and Serverless, and provide a stage for young people who love technology to challenge world-class technical problems.

- Champion: 1 team/track, each team will receive a prize of 100,000 yuan and a certificate of award will be issued
- Runner-up: 1 team/track, each team will receive a bonus of 50,000 yuan and a certificate of award

[Track 1] Apache RocketMQ is designed as a distributed message middleware for the RocketMQ storage system for hot and cold reading and writing scenarios. Over the years, Double 11 has carried trillions of message flows. Among them, real-time read and write data and reading historical data are common storage access scenarios in business. Optimizing for this mixed read-write scenario can greatly improve the stability of the storage system.

[Track 2] Implement a flexible cluster scheduling mechanism Apache Dubbo is a highly scalable RPC framework that supports a highly customized cluster scheduling mechanism. This competition requires participants to design a flexible scheduling mechanism based on the cluster scheduling customization capabilities provided by Dubbo, supplemented by functions such as calling the filter chain mechanism and custom load balancing mechanism.

Competitors can log in to Tianchi's official website with their Taobao or Alibaba Cloud accounts and complete the registration of personal information to register for the competition. Please ensure that the registration information is accurate and valid. Players can participate in a single team or a team of 1-3 people. During the preliminary round, the team can be changed no more than 3 times at each track.
