debuginfod service
During this cycle, we have done a lot of work to improve our debuginfod service.
- The service now indexes and provides source code for quite a few packages. This means that users won't need to manually download the source code for packages, or fiddle with GDB's dir or set substitute-path commands. Source code acquisition will be done transparently by the debugger, which will save a lot of time.
- The service is now able to index and serve debug artifacts from private PPAs. Currently, it only indexes ESM PPAs.
- The speed at which the service indexes new
ddebs
and source code has been improved.
