OS2ATC|The 10th Open Source Operating System Annual Technical Conference ended successfully

The 10th Open Source Operating System Annual Technical Conference (OS2ATC) ended perfectly, and the ten-year journey is forging ahead!

On March 26, sponsored by Tongxin Software , organized by Tsinghua University , Peking University , and Jianshe Technology , the 10th Annual Open Source Operating System Technical Conference (OS2ATC) was held in Xijiao Hotel, Beijing. Zhang Lei, senior vice general manager and CTO of Tongxin Software, and Liang Yuning, founder and CEO of Jianshi Technology, served as the chairman of the conference.

This conference invited more than 60 domestic first-line operating system experts, industry leaders, and well-known scholars to conduct in-depth discussions on how to "open source innovation", covering hardware, RISC-V architecture, ARM architecture, Godson architecture, programming technology, RUST, automotive software , AIoT, ubiquitous OS, cloud native, virtualization and other technical hotspots to discuss. The main forum, hardware, AIoT and kernel, automotive software, programming technology, cloud native and virtualization, and seven forums for students are in full swing.

The scene was full of enthusiasm, and there were no empty seats.

In the opening speech, Zhang Lei , senior vice general manager and CTO of Tongxin Software, said that OS2ATC, the annual open source operating system technical conference, has been held for nine consecutive sessions, and has achieved great results in operating system academic exchanges, displaying industrial achievements, and promoting related research. On the 10th anniversary of OS2ATC, we will build on the past and the future.

Liang Yuning , founder and CEO of Jianshi Technology , said that we hope that China will have more development in open source software, operating systems, chips, RISC-V and other fields in the next decade. Thank you for your support.

Gu Ronghui , a professor at Columbia University , published a report titled "Microtification of the Linux KVM Hypervisor", which brought formal verification of commercial Linux Hypervisors and elaborated on the precision and integrity of virtual machines.

Li Ge , a professor at Peking University , introduced the aiXcoder XL developed by the team in his speech "Intelligent Programming Technology Based on AIGC", which supports method-level code generation and is of great significance to the research and industrial application of intelligent programming technology. At the same time, he emphasized that large models cannot solve all problems. Although large models have opened a window for us, there is still a long way to go in the future.

Liu Shuang , head of Ant Group's secure computing platform , gave a speech titled "Rust Monitor Formal Verification". Ant's self-developed Rust Monitor uses a unified TEE hardware abstraction layer, does not rely on special security hardware, and provides cross-platform The TEE security capability has already been implemented in a large scale, and it has the qualification of financial technology products.

Professor Zhang Chao of Tsinghua University published a report entitled "Kernel Vulnerability Mining Technology". According to the number of international CVE vulnerability databases, kernel vulnerabilities have increased significantly in the past five years, and the problem of kernel vulnerabilities cannot be ignored. Among them, fuzz testing is used to mine kernel vulnerabilities. He shared several mainstream kernel fuzz testing methods. In the future, he will develop in the direction of breadth target support, test efficiency optimization, genetic evolution, and AI intelligent collaboration.

Huawei Euler OS planning expert Zhang Pan brought us "OS Form Thinking in the Era of Diverse Computing Power", what kind of operating system is needed for the future of diverse computing power? The answer given by Zhang Pan is heterogeneous fusion. For hardware in the era of diverse computing power, the innovative computing architecture revolves around interconnection + DSA to accelerate data flow and improve parallelism.

In his speech "Artificial Intelligence Compiler Based on Expression Derivation", Zhai Jidong, a tenured associate professor at Tsinghua University, introduced the graph-computing fusion optimization technology based on expression derivation, and established a bridge between layers and operator layers through algebraic expressions . The optimization technology of graph computing fusion provides strong support and significantly expands the optimization space.

In addition to the wonderful speeches, at the meeting, Jianshi Technology CEO Liang Yuning and product director Lu Yanwen officially released the world's first RISC-V development laptop ROMA. ROMA is led by the RISC-V Foundation, with in-depth digital intelligence development and technology debugging. ROMA is pre-installed with the domestic operating system openKylin, equipped with a 4-core RISC-V processor, and has an upgradeable SoC motherboard, using 12nm (professional version) / 28nm (standard version) SoM package.

Dr. Yu Jie , a researcher at the National University of Defense Technology and the technical leader of the openKylin community, introduced the progress and planning of the openKylin operating system in RISC-V, and continued to optimize ROMA in terms of kernel layer, GPU, software packages, etc. Notebooks provide better support and better enhance the RISC-V ecological experience.

The conference specially set up the "Open Source Innovation Pioneer Award", to witness the outstanding contributions made by outstanding open source people to open source technology projects, and to jointly promote the development of open source at home and abroad. Jiang Zhouqi from Huazhong University of Science and Technology , Zheng Yusheng from Zhejiang University , Wu Yifan from Huawei, and Man Jianting , a member of the RT-Thread community and a researcher from Huawei Canada, stood out after evaluation by the organizing committee and experts and teachers. Promoting China's deep participation in global open source governance and building a prosperous open source ecosystem cannot do without the participation of every open source person.

In the afternoon, the sub-forum continued to carry out more technical exchanges and sharing, from Dragon Lizard Community, Hongmeng Community, Intel, Jindie Space-Time, Tencent, Zebra, Huawei, Yihui Information, Allwinner Technology, Ruibo Intelligent, Guoke Foundation Stone, Godson Technical experts and students from Zhongke, RT-Thread, Xiaomi, openKylin, Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhidu, Harbin Institute of Technology, Peking University, Tsinghua University and other enterprises and universities, focusing on hardware, RISC-V, programming technology, AIoT, kernel, cloud native , virtualization, automotive software and other hot topics, and actively interacted with the audience.
