CNCF open source project remote paid internship opportunities are here! Apply to become a WasmEdge contributor

LFX Mentorship 2022 Spring Semester is open for applications! LFX Mentorship is similar to GSoC, the Linux Foundation will provide paid internship opportunities for developers participating in CNCF open source projects!

Contribute to open source projects, be recognized by the open source community, and be paid at least $3000 (depending on your geographic location). Why not do it?

LFX Mentorship 2022 Spring Term has a total of 19 CNCF-hosted open source projects participating, covering all aspects of cloud native, and WasmEdge is one of them.

WasmEdge also brings 4 tasks to the open source community, improving the performance of WasmEdge when running the language interpreter, implementing a new Wasm Proposal for WasmEdge, and adding new features for Wasm proposals. If you are interested in WebAssembly and cloud native, come and apply to become a Mentee of WasmEdge.

These tasks require applicants to master C++ or Rust. It doesn't matter if C++, Rust is new to you. This internship has a total of 3 months (full-time) or 6 months (part-time), you have enough time to make up your knowledge reserve.

So, does LFX Mentorship have any requirements for participants?

As long as they are over 18 years old, developers who are in school or have graduated can apply to become Mentee before February 13, starting a three-month (March-May) remote internship journey.

For details on how to apply, you can refer to this official tutorial.
