1. Download ubuntu 14.04 LTS mirror software

 

2. Make a U disk boot and installation disk

Produced by UltraISO or produced under ubuntu (the official website has an introduction)

 

3. Install ubuntu system

1 Enter bios and select usb to boot

2 After restarting, enter the menu and choose to install ubuntu

3 In the installation type interface, select "Other Options"

4 Click the free area, select Add, and mount the relevant partition as follows:

Serial Number / Partition Type / Size / Start Type / File Type / Mount / Description

  1) / logical partition / 200M / start / Ext4 log file / /boot / This partition is the boot partition, generally 200M is enough

  2) / logical partition / 5000M / start / swap space / none / swap partition swap, generally not larger than physical memory

  3) / logical partition / 16000M / start /  Ext4 log file / / or /root / system partition, used to install the system and software, generally 20G, can also be multi-point

 

4) / Logical partition / Number of remaining space / Start /  Ext4 log file / / home / home partition, storing personal files

 

5 After the partition is set, check the number of the boot partition, select the number of the /boot partition under "Install the device that starts the boot partition", and click Install

6 Follow the prompts to install

 

4. Use EasyBCD to create a boot system (if it is ubuntu to start windows, this step can be omitted)
