System: centos6.8
Description of the problem: During the installation process and after the installation is successful, the cpu fan does not turn.
System kernel after installation: 2.6.32-642.el6.x86_64
Workaround: Upgrade the system kernel
Upgrade steps:
1. rpm --import https://www.elrepo.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-elrepo.org
2. cd /etc/yum.repos.d/
3. rpm -ivh http://www.elrepo.org/elrepo-release-6-6.el6.elrepo.noarch.rpm
4. yum --enablerepo=elrepo-kernel install kernel-lt –y
5. Modify the default=0 of the grub.conf file vi /etc/grub.conf
6. Restart the computer reboot
Upgraded system kernel: 3.10.103-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64
Works fine after upgrade
Note: centos6.5 does not have this problem, 6.8 and 7 have this problem
