Treat time as a friend---Wake up

1. Who is the master and who is the servant:
As a person, the most shocking experience that may be encountered in this life is to discover such a miraculous phenomenon: we can control our brains with our own riots.
If you look at yourself, you can understand that everyone can divide themselves into two parts - what they know and what they don't know. Sometimes we don't know ourselves.
Then there is the process of socializing with others, we find that everyone can use another way to divide themselves into two parts - what others know and what others do not know. In this way, we can divide a person into 4 areas.

It doesn't matter for the time being to figure out what "what you don't know, and what others don't know about yourself" is, what is really important is:
you are now aware of "what you don't know" and "you don't know what you don't know" by your own mind. Knowing that no one else knows" you exist!
If we can control our roar with our roar, then we should use our roar to control our brains—in fact, that's exactly what separates humans from apes, even though humans and apes share a common ancestor.
Your brain is not you, your brain is (belongs to) "your" brain.
Although you use your brain to think as if it is also guiding your behavior, understand that your brain should not be your master, you "can control your brain" - it is important to distinguish between master and slave.
"Anything a man has can be deprived of, but the last human freedom-that is, the freedom to choose one's own attitude and way of life in any situation-cannot be deprived."
This is called "using the mind for liberation". Instead of letting yourself "follow your senses" and become a slave to your brain, turn yourself over to be a master of your brain.
2. What is the mind:
What is the mind? Simply put, a person's mind is the sum of all the knowledge and experience he has acquired in the past (including the thinking methods and thinking patterns based on these knowledge and experiences).
Mind is not the same as IQ, and not everyone with a normal IQ has a normal mind. Many people's minds are still in an unopened state. We often see so-called "smart people do stupid things", and the reason is basically that their minds are not yet turned on. Even if they make a wrong judgment, they will be plausible - not arrogant, but just righteous, two-eyed, and full of sincerity.
The enlightenment of the mind is often described by words, "enlightenment" and "sudden realization". When a person's mind is opened, he faces a whole new world - although there are still good and bad. In this new world, everything may be different from before, because he has to understand and judge again with his opened mind.
We can often see such an example: a truth is clearly very correct, but because the person who told the truth was exposed because of something, showing the face of a hypocrite, many people no longer believe the truth that should be believed. For example, "As long as you are practical and serious in doing things, your career will be great." This was originally a very simple truth, but Tang, who kept saying this all day, was exposed - his education was fake. , he can be at ease! As a result, many people have "enlightened", "sudden enlightenment", and come to the conclusion: "Never believe in this kind of nonsense again!".
The difference in mental strength between people is just such a little accumulation, and eventually the difference is huge. It should be emphasized that a person's mind is the sum of his mind and experience, including his thinking methods and thinking patterns. Because whether it is absorbing knowledge or summarizing experience, it takes thinking to come to a conclusion. In the process, his thinking method and thinking mode will change to some extent, according to new knowledge and experience, or to consolidate, or to adjust, or to deny, or to rebuild...
So, the mind is such a thing "There is no cap on the top, and no guarantee on the bottom." Once the mind is turned on, it may develop like a virus because of learning, and at the same time, the "learning ability" will also increase accordingly. So the mind can develop, it can be cultivated, it can be rebuilt, it can even be rebuilt over and over again - how can it be capped? However, on the other hand, if there are some mistakes in this process, then the development of the mind may stagnate, or even reverse, and if it is not done, it will be "infatuation, not madness" - how can it be guaranteed?
3. My case (income of 10 yuan):
I clearly remember the disappointed sigh when the male teacher said, "Let's be here today." The teacher went on to say, "The official class will start tomorrow afternoon. Sign up. Students who participate will have to pay a tuition fee of 10 yuan." As a result, the head teacher's son said that he would not go, because his parents said it was useless to learn that.
When my father heard that the tuition fee of 10 yuan was required to apply for a class, he only said one sentence: "Learning more is always a good thing".
In the years after the class, fiddling with computers has brought me countless spiritual pleasures. Not to mention these, I mean one thing---in the process of writing... awesome books, if I don't have a little bit more computer knowledge than ordinary people, I can write some batch scripts by myself, It is impossible to complete such a huge amount of work in such a short period of time. Moreover, without these skills, even if it takes several times more time, it will be difficult to come up with a work of the same quality as....
But the problem is that when I was studying computer programming languages in the Children's Palace, how could I have expected that one day after more than 20 years, I would need to use software to retrieve the data in the corpus, and then use statistical methods to mark the word frequency for each word. Then use a batch program to copy up to 20M of content from the response dictionary. . . .
By the way, statistics was the only course I took as a hobby when I was in college, and it turned out to be the most useful thing I learned at that stage - it's a must for all areas of modern science data knowledge. When I was flipping through statistics books, I never imagined that one day I would apply those theories to English teaching. Later, I was rated as "the most wonderful teacher in lectures". This evaluation should be related to the super persuasive ability I have cultivated. The first job I took after graduating from college was sales. However, the purpose of my ability to persuade is not to be an excellent teacher one day, but to make money and make a living.
For a long time, I used to say to my classmates: "Practicing typing is a complete waste of time". I think the Wangma Wubi font input method is for typists. Then there was one thing, one afternoon, after chatting for hours on the Internet with a girl who thought I would never know who it was, I learned the so-called "blind typing" without a teacher. This is the first time I realized that "some knowledge, even simple common sense, needs to be experienced in person before I can really appreciate it". Only with an unparalleled typing speed, can I appreciate the benefits of typing faster.
After my typing speed increased, I found that I no longer hated taking notes while reading. Begin a large section of the recording of feelings, and sometimes even simply excerpt the entire text.
After really realizing the benefits of reading and taking notes, or even taking a lot of notes, I suddenly realized how absurd the idea of refusing to learn touch-typing in the past was. If, even five years ago, it took me a week to learn to touch typing, how many more reading notes and how many articles could I accumulate?
To say that the absurdity of the past is laziness and naivety is too simplistic. In fact, this should be attributed to my mental capacity is not strong enough. My mind is not strong, so I didn't realize that I was just lazy, and even plausible and complacent. The most terrible thing is that I repeatedly missed the huge receipt that could have been, but I didn't know it. horrible!

  Bottom line:
People may make diametrically opposed decisions for exactly the same reasons.
When there is an opportunity to learn a skill, people often ask: "What's the use of learning this thing?" In fact, before learning, the answer to the questioner can only be "I don't know"--- - Although many books have already spent a lot of space on "why to learn (a skill)". And "don't know what's the use of that thing" is precisely the reason why some people (more, B) decide not to learn, and at the same time, he is also the reason why other people (less, A) decide to learn.
Most of the time, X probably didn't even think about "what's the use of learning this thing". Just study on your own. After many years, he naturally found the use of this skill and enjoyed the various benefits brought by the existing skill. Thus, this prior experience became part of his mind. When encountering a new learning opportunity, he will naturally adopt the same strategy----whatever the use of it, learn it, it is always useful to learn. He will naturally understand and believe in the truth of "skills do not overwhelm one's body".

And after many years, maybe one day, when he encounters a little embarrassment because he did not learn this skill, he may sigh "I was not sensible at the beginning, if only I had learned it..." However, , . When he encounters a learning opportunity again, he will still choose to give up, but in addition to "don't know what's the use of learning him", there is another reason "it's too late to learn now". This judgment of refusing to learn gradually integrated into his mind, making it difficult and easier. In the end, when he faces the same opportunity again, he will make the same choice as before.

Seeing through all this and getting rid of your own limitations requires the power of the mind! !
