Perfection of Viewpoint Definition Mechanism
A view in the ArchiMate language is the selection of a related subset of ArchiMate elements and their relationships. To support TOGAF , Archimate 2.1 defines 18 standard viewpoints, covering business and enterprise architecture, focusing on different stakeholders, which are aligned with the standard definition of the ISO42010 viewpoint.
In version 3.0, the description of the viewpoint mechanism has been improved, and the viewpoint list has been placed in an informative appendix to make it clear that these viewpoints are exemplary viewpoints.
