I believe that friends of the Academy of Sciences system will all come into contact with an ARP system when they go abroad for meetings.
How bad the ARP system is, I won't complain here, just talk about the problems and solutions. (wasted me too much time to solve)
Since the development of the ARP system is completely based on the IE browser before IE8, any Linux system, advanced Win system or Chrome should not be used (ARP does whatever it wants).
If you happen to be WIN8 or WIN10, since the built-in IE is already IE8 or above, the problems that will definitely occur are:
(1) In the ARP system, click on each column, nothing is displayed in the text part
Solution: In the IE settings, add the arp website in the compatibility view (the rule I use is: arp.cn, in May 2018, the domain name may be adjusted in the future, just modify it accordingly.)
(2) When you need to upload attachments in the application for going abroad (or in other columns), there is no component that can be uploaded, and it is blank.
Solution: In the ARP system, under the IE browser, press F12 to bring up the console.
Under the "Simulation" column, adjust the document format and browser configuration: my work configuration here is: document mode 5, browser configuration file: enterprise (this is very critical!!!), user agent string: IE11.
After this setting, re-enter the column that needs to upload attachments, and finally the component for uploading attachments appears! ! !
