1. Classification criteria
There are two division standards for the sci division, namely the JCR division and the Chinese Academy of Sciences division. The division standards are different, resulting in the same journal belonging to the first district in JCR, but belonging to the second district in the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Basis for partitioning: ranking according to impact factors
In the same discipline, partition according to the high and low impact factors.

The jcr division is the division of Thomson Reuters. There are four districts: Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4. The impact factor of the Q1 district is the top 25% (including 25%), 25% to 50% (including 50%) is the Q2 district, 50 % to 75% (including 75%) is Q3 area, and after 75% is Q4 area.
2. How to choose
The catalog of SCI journals is determined, and relevant units will divide these journal catalogs into divisions according to the standards. After the division is determined, no matter which division standard is adopted, a SCI journal division table will be produced.
Then when you have written a paper and are ready to submit it,If the unit recognizes the JCR partition, it must screen the JCR partition table, and if it recognizes the Chinese Academy of Sciences partition, it must screen the Chinese Academy of Sciences partition table。
