.NET Core 2.1 RC 1 released with support for Alpine Linux and ARM

  

.NET Core 2.1 RC 1 is out now, and officials say it's ready for widespread testing and production use.

Using .NET Core 2.1 RC 1 on Windows, macOS and Linux platforms

• .NET Core 2.1 RC 1 SDK (includes the runtime)

• .NET Core 2.1 RC 1 Runtime

Starting with .NET Core 2.1 RC 1, official support has been added for Alpine Linux, a very small, security-focused Linux distribution and a very popular image in Docker.

Additionally, .NET Core now supports Linux ARM32 distributions such as Raspbian and Ubuntu.
