A little insight into the IT industry for the first time~

1: Does the salary really matter? Do you want to change jobs?

Coming to a city from out of town, with no savings, a little rookie who has just entered the IT industry, facing many interviewers, is like a stupid husky mixed into the wolf pack. Within a week, I was beaten to death, and receiving an offer was like a life-saving straw. Although the salary was not high, I agreed immediately. However, the follow-up offer information came one after another, which made my mood very complicated. I felt a little bit of regret, and I also felt a little bit of fate. Let's do it first. After all, the company is so close to where you live, so you can change jobs after a while.

When I worked for about a month, I was entangled in my heart whether to change jobs, (the salary here is too low, what should I do, what should I do, my friend's salary in Shanghai is much higher than mine, should I change jobs, or not... ...) just like that, struggling inside. A new and unsettled young white began to ask seniors and friends. "Let's change jobs, the salary is so low, find someone with a higher salary, at least 2,000 higher, otherwise it's not worth it~", "Do it slowly, learn knowledge first, work for half a year and a year before leaving~", different There are suggestions. As a rookie who is not determined at heart, his thoughts are changing every moment.

I asked a lot of people, listened to a lot of suggestions, and read a lot of life insights and good opinions on the Internet.

Do you live far from your company? How long does it take you to take the subway to your residence after you change jobs, and what is the value of the time on the road in your mind? What is the salary increase in your mind when you move to the next company? Are you competent enough?

In this way, many conditions are summed up in my mind, analyzing and judging different values. Finally decided to keep the company for a year.

First of all, it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the company from my current residence. I have enough time to do what I want to do after get off work every day, and I can take a little more rest in the morning. My focus on the living environment is a little higher, and I can take care of myself with my current salary. Secondly, the atmosphere of the company is very good, the manager's skills are very strong, and the old employees are also very easy to deal with. There is enough room for knowledge improvement. Improve the technology first, and when you reach the next node, you can change jobs. The specific node needs to be judged by the market, such as independently responsible for modules, full stack and so on. But I would like to say that if you are really short of money, I think you should find a company with a higher salary, even if you are tired. People who haven't experienced poverty really don't understand how terrible it is.

Two: Which way should I go?

Although this sentence is not absolute, it reflects the facts of the IT industry. As we all know, programmers are young people who either go to the management level or the technical level in the later stage, but as a post-90s generation One of the members who is feared by housing prices day and night. If you want to catch up with the accumulation of two or even three generations, the road you take in the later period is particularly important. Each era has its own unique outlet, as we see it. In the early days of reform and opening up, I felt it was so easy to make money, but in that era, there were not many people who saw the dividends of reform in the early days. Looking back on history, it was easy to see the fog, but in the contemporary era, the fog is not so easy to see. clear. Therefore, if we want to have the idea of becoming a noble person from a humble family, we must always stand at the forefront of the times, so that we can clearly see where the next outlet is and become a person above everyone. Although human beings are created equal, class is everywhere and we cannot break it. Only standing at the top of the class is the best help for ourselves and the next generation.

Having said all that, which way should we go? No, should I go that way? Improve your mind and enrich your knowledge.

It's 2018, I'm in Suzhou, but next year I may go to Beijing to pay attention to Xiong'an's policies, in my opinion, technology is just a tool to help you live, knowledge and mind are always what help you succeed, so, don't Simply pursuing high wages and investing in yourself is always the most correct choice, especially to improve your mind. The book "Take Time as a Friend" hopes that everyone can read it.

Just my humble opinion, just my own thoughts!
