A little insight about corporate values

It has been almost 3 months since I joined mt, and I often hear in some meetings or communications that xxx does not conform to our values, so I also want to talk about the understanding of values. . .

What are values? In fact, it is a very superficial question. When I was young (still in school), the values I thought were the content of the political textbooks. Even if I went to college, the values were just a word for me, until I got older after work. Only then did I gradually realize the meaning of values. To put it simply, it means that what is important. To give a common ion, look at the process of picking people if you are the one. The time to ask questions is limited. The questions asked by male and female guests must be what he/she cares about most, that is, he/she actually has an answer (values) in his heart before asking. , If the other party's answer is too far apart, they will not choose, otherwise there will be problems in the future.

Abstract corporate values? It is the soul/inner part of an enterprise. Maybe today's business is group buying, tomorrow is e-commerce, and the day after tomorrow is social networking, but what remains unchanged is the values/culture, which is a foundation that supports an enterprise to do well no matter what.

Concrete corporate values? From a young age, it should be the founders who "fit in love", but it is not static, but evolved. In the process of constant error correction, we gradually found that when we all think "xxxx" is correct and important, we can do things. If it is done well, then this is the value of the company, and it is the point of view that everyone agrees with and is willing to use as a guide to do things.

How are values delivered? Rely on everyone's example and words and deeds. Don't try to "brainwash" by sending brochures or advertisements. Only when everyone does this and believes that this value is reasonable will it be passed on. Otherwise, it is purely by " Propaganda "cannot resonate, people are lazy or "utilitarian", without personal experience, without benefit from it, they will not easily accept and do it in this way, so in the end it depends on everyone's example and Teaching by words and deeds, until it is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and then lead by example, teach by words and deeds, and pass it on.

Don't take values as "weapons" : As mentioned earlier, values are the soul of an enterprise and a point of view that everyone agrees with. Therefore, the proposition "does not conform to xxxx values" does not hold, because this is a point of view that everyone in an enterprise agrees with. If someone does not conform to xxxx's values, then xxxx should not be the value of this company. It may be awkward to say that, but if you think about it carefully, not conforming to xxxx's values is a very serious problem for a company, and a complete problem for individuals. Therefore, "does not conform to xxxx values" is not suitable for people, and it is also not suitable for things, even if it is changed to "violates the values of xxxx" is more appropriate than "does not conform to the values of xxxx", but I still I want to say that even this is inappropriate. Whether it conforms to or violates the values cannot be judged by one person, because the values are unanimously recognized by everyone, and a single person cannot represent everyone. If you think it is wrong or think there is a problem, you should do Based on the principles of xxxx values, how to improve. To give an inappropriate example, as a former employee of the Wolf Factory, I have witnessed countless times in teamwork. If the other party did not cooperate well enough, I would accuse the other party of not conforming to the “simple and dependable” culture of the Wolf Factory. There is nothing wrong with this, but from a higher perspective, if the "other party" did something more important and more valuable to the company, which caused it to fail to do well, then on the contrary, the "other party" is more important. It conforms to the culture of "simple and dependable", because the company depends on simplicity, and there is no "simple and dependable" team. Therefore, don't use values as "weapons", but as things to do better and get closer A guide to the goal.

Don't use values as "excuses" : don't try to use values to make excuses or reasons for things or people, to use mt's values is to insist on doing the right thing, not the easy thing, I have always believed that things can always be improved Yes, the key lies in whether you use it carefully and whether the execution is strong enough. If you don’t do it well or don’t do it well enough because it conforms to a certain value, it must be wrong.

I have said so much, not aimed at anyone, just my own perception. The language is messy and the words are inaccurate. If you see it, I would like to give more opinions and suggestions.(Smile)
