1. Environmental requirements
- Windows:
System: win7 or above
Memory : 8G+ (I have used 4G, when three linux are turned on, the CPU usage rate is as high as 94%, and it cannot be moved at all)
Disk: 500G+ - VMware
- Linux system:
Version: ContOS 64-bit 6.5 and above - hadoop-2.7.5.tar.gz
2. Operation steps
VMware installation steps are omitted, the version information I use:
Create a new virtual machine in VMware:
- In VMware, click File -> New Virtual Machine, when the configuration type pops up, select Custom (Advanced), and then click [Next]:
- Then select the virtual machine compatibility type and select the default here:
- Install the guest operating system here, that is, install CentOS, here select [Install the operating system later], and then click [Next]:
- The next step is to select the operating system of the virtual machine, select linux here , select CentOS 6 64-bit version , and then click [Next]:
- Then it is to name the virtual machine and set the storage location of the virtual machine. Here, it is recommended that the virtual machine have a regular name (there are many clusters, and regularity will bring some convenience later). The location of the virtual machine is also recommended in Create a directory on a disk with enough storage space, and then create a separate directory for the newly created virtual machine in the directory. After setting, click [Next]:
- Set the processor, here the processor can be set to 2 first, and the number of cores is also 2, which can be changed later as needed, and then click [Next]:
- The next step is to configure the virtual machine memory. I set it to 2G, which can be set to 1G. This can also be adjusted later, and then [Next]:
- The next step is to select the network type, here select the NAT mode, and then [Next]:
- Select the I/O control type, use the default here, click [Next]:
- Select the disk type, use the default here, click [Next]:
- Select the disk, use the default here (create a virtual disk), click Next [Next]
- Set the disk capacity, which can be set according to the size of your own hard disk, if it is small, 10-20G, if there is enough hard disk space, you can set 50-60G, and choose to split the virtual disk into multiple files, and then select [Next step]:
- Specify the disk file, the default here is OK, and then click [Next]:
- In the last step, click Finish to create a new virtual machine.
- Created virtual machine
- In VMware, click File -> New Virtual Machine, when the configuration type pops up, select Custom (Advanced), and then click [Next]:
