origin8.0 drawing study notes

Today is the first time to learn to use origin8.0 for drawing and data analysis. Now I record the bits and pieces of the learning process here for subsequent review and learning.

------------------------------------------------------------

1. Horizontal and vertical coordinates font: English [ Arial or Times New Roman ], Chinese [Song or Chinese Zhongsong], font size 16 or 18pt.

2. I found a problem, the graph drawn by origin is jagged in word and visio, which is very uncomfortable; but there is no jagged phenomenon after generating the PDF, which is amazing!

3. Regarding saving Figure, you can directly [Edit>Copy Page], or you can select emf format high-definition output pictures through [File>Exports Graphs] ( emf format pictures can be ungrouped for re-editing under visio, which is very convenient and very high-definition , very suitable for dissertation writing ).

4. By default, there is no axis on the right and top of the coordinate axis. You can add it through the following operations:

Right-click on the picture or double-click the coordinate axis--then select Axis--select the Grid Line tab, and select the Opposite under the Additional Lines corresponding to Vertical and Horizontal respectively (that is to say, the existing left and bottom lines opposite the two axes are also selected. plus ) to confirm.

5. How to make the axis scale inward:

Double-click the coordinate axis, select [title & format], under [major] and [minor], change [out] to [in], and confirm.

6. Discover a new skill, that is, after setting a satisfactory picture, you don’t have to start from scratch in order to draw again

Select the picture you want to copy the format, right-click directly on copy format-"all, then right-click on the picture to apply the target format and select paste format, the desired format (including symbols, colors, etc. ) is all set. Finish!

After setting the template, if you want to call, the method is as follows:

Right click on the right margin of the GRAPH page (not in the hidden box of the GRAPH diagram) and select "Save Format as theme...". Be careful not to tick the mine in front of "Set as System Theme".

After processing the data according to the general steps, select all --> right click --> plot --> template library (at the bottom) --> in the pop-up dialog box, select the template that you saved before in user defined- ->plot
