Anti-static measures in equipment room

In order to prevent the harm caused by static electricity, better protect the equipment in the equipment room, and make better use of the wiring space, an elevated anti-static floor should be installed in key rooms such as the central equipment room.

The anti-static floor used in the equipment room has two categories: steel structure and wood structure. The requirements are that it has fireproof, waterproof, and anti-static functions, and is light, thin, has high strength and adaptability, and has microporous ventilation. . There should be enough room for the ventilation ducts under the anti-static floor or above the anti-static ceiling board to be used as the space for laying wire troughs and cables in the equipment room.

When laying antistatic floor between equipments, a static leakage system should be installed at the same time. Lay a static leakage grounding net, and seal the static leakage trunk line and the ground terminal for safety protection of the equipment room together to discharge static electricity.

Precautions for installation of the elevated anti-static floor in the central computer room and equipment room:

1. Clean the ground, rinse or wet the ground with water, and wait until the ground is completely dry before construction.

2. Draw the floor grid line and the cable duct path identification line, which is a necessary step to ensure that the floor is horizontal and vertical. First mark the position of each bracket correctly on the ground coordinates, and then immediately mark the large number of wire troughs under the floor, cable exits, placement directions, distances, etc. on the ground together, and accurately draw the positioning screws. Hole position, and can not rush to place the bracket.

3. When laying wire troughs and cables, first lay the wire troughs under the anti-static floor. These wire troughs are all metal and can be locked and opened. Therefore, this process is to fully fix the position of the wire troughs and install them at the same time. ground lead, and then route the cable.

4. The grounding protection of the bracket and the trunking system is very important for the safety of the network system. Pay special attention to the grounding copper tape connected to the floor support as a grounding protection for the anti-static floor. Note that you must wait until all the brackets are placed before uniformly calibrating the height of the brackets.
