TeX Live 2022 officially released

TeX Live 2022 has been officially released , get it:

• Install TeX Live online (official recommended way, install via network)
• Install TeX Live from DVD (official recommended way, use media to install)
• Download huge ISO files (usually used to burn DVDs)
• Download multiple huge tarballs
• Download TeX Live Mirror

TEX Live includes TEX, LATEX2ε, ConTEXt, METAFONT, MetaPost, BibTEX and many other executable programs; a wide variety of packages, fonts and documentation, and supports many different languages ​​in the world.

TEX Live provides executables for a variety of Unix-based platforms, including GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Cygwin. It also contains source code for compilation and installation on platforms where no executable is provided.

As for Windows, TEX Live only supports Windows 7 or later. Windows Vista may continue to work, but TEX Live will not run on Windows XP or earlier. TeX Live does not include 64-bit Windows executables, but 32-bit executables will run fine on 64-bit systems.

TeX Live 2022 Update Highlights

• Added a new typesetting engine - HiTeX , which is specially designed for reading technical documents on mobile devices, and illustrations are also more convenient. Use the texdoc hitexcommand to view HiTeX documents, the HiTeX output format is .hnt.
• tangle , weave: Supports an optional third parameter to specify the output file.
