Recently, there was a display of results that required blind reviews to hide information related to units and individuals. So it had to be mosaic.
There are several ways to search online.
- Use the mosaic filter that comes with VideoStudio. The problem with this method is that it cannot add filters locally.
- So, it is natural to think. Copy the original video to a track, then cut out the necessary part, delete the rest, and then add the built-in FX mosaic filter on that track.
- It is said on the Internet that there is also a "pixelizer" filter that can achieve a mosaic-like effect at a specified position, but I did not find this filter in my 2019 version of VideoStudio.
- Then it occurred to me that, in fact, it is not necessary to cut out the original video content and make a separate track. I can find a picture on the Internet and put it in. It will be much simpler and more direct, just find a mosaic picture.
So, my processing flow is as follows:
- Find a mosaic picture on the Internet, this Baidu, a lot, for the sake of harmony, try to find pictures of the same color system.
- Also add a track in VideoStudio, put the picture in. Adjust his size and position.
- In order to make the color unobtrusive, set the "color" of the picture to automatically adjust the hue.
- In order to make the border shape not abrupt. In the "Effects" of the picture, add "Apply Overlay Options" and select "Mask Frame" in the type. You will be pleasantly surprised to find that there is also a mosaic effect (so to speak). Of course, you can also choose not to shape.
- If it involves mosaics in multiple places, just modify the size and position of the mosaic. Other effects can be copied quickly.
