Vehicle scan based on ODX/OTX diagnosis

| ODX(Open Diagnostic data eXchange)

It is an open diagnostic data format based on XML language, used for the interaction of diagnostic data in the entire life cycle of the vehicle. It was first proposed by ASAM and formed the standard MCD-2D, and later formed the ISO standard-ISO 22901-1 based on ODX2.2.0.

| OTX(Open Test sequence eXchange)

It is an open test sequence exchange format based on XML language, used to describe the requirements of basic functional tests to the entire test application, and conforms to the ISO 13209 standard.

| Vehicle scan

It is a rapid and accurate method for evaluating vehicle status provided by automobile diagnostic tests.

The whole vehicle scan based on ODX/OTX is to import the ODX/OTX diagnostic database into the engineering diagnostic instrument, connect the vehicle through the OBD interface and identify and match with the controller, and use 22 services and 19 services to provide DID data information of all ECUs of the vehicle Read with DTC information, snapshot information, extended data, etc. For example, read the software and hardware version number, ASAM/ODX file ID and version, coding information, parameter setting part number and version, engine code, ECU voltage, DTC quantity, DTC environmental conditions, DTC status, etc.

The data read by the diagnostic instrument can truly reflect the working voltage and status of the sensors and actuators, and tell the technicians which engine or component parameters are out of range. The picture below is the diagnostic report generated by our CAR ASYST after-sales diagnostic instrument. According to the diagnostic report, we can quickly understand vehicle health information.

Vehicle scanning is very useful in development, testing, production and after-sales stages.

Our Q-Tester is an engineering diagnostic instrument that supports the entire vehicle scanning function, is based on ODX/OTX international standards, fully complies with the MVCI architecture, and can be applied to the entire vehicle life cycle.

The diagnostic functions of Q-Tester include:

·  Quick Test – scan of the whole vehicle,

·  Service-Supports the execution of all diagnostic services created in the ODX database

·  DTC-read, write and clear DTC in ECU

·  SoftKey-Create and execute test sequences

·  Coding-ECU calibration

·  Data Display-Read ECU DID data information

·  Write-some DID information adjustment in ECU

·  Flash-ECU flashing

·  Read DID-Read DID information in ECU

·  Variant Coding/ Vehicle Coding – customized vehicle Coding differentiated by format

·  Vehicle Flash-complete vehicle flashing

·  Logical Link List-vehicle ECU connection and communication status setting

Currently, Q-Tester has about a dozen automakers in use at home and abroad. For the convenience of use, it also supports switching between Chinese and English. It can be said that this is a mature, comprehensive and high-quality engineering diagnostic instrument that has been recognized by the market!

Nowadays, with the development of the automobile industry, people not only regard vehicle performance as the only criterion for car purchase, but also after-sales service is also important. The ability to quickly resolve vehicle failures for car owners is a major criterion for after-sales quality. In addition to Q-Tester, we have also customized an after-sales diagnostic instrument for Audi - CAR ASYST .

CAR ASYST is used for rapid vehicle diagnosis, mainly used in service, repair shops, and road rescue. It supports remote operation and can be installed on portable communication devices such as mobile phones or tablets. It is also an after-sales diagnostic instrument that has been widely used in the market.
